The best Salesforce Admin certification course in 2026 is a combination: Salesforce's free Trailhead Trailmix for coverage, plus one source of timed practice exams. If you want one paid add-on, K2U's $24 practice exams (the new home of Focus on Force) are the cheapest serious mock-exam bank I found. If you learn from video, a Udemy course is fine. And if your employer pays, Salesforce's own CRT101 class includes an exam voucher.
Full disclosure up front: I run a free course, the Admin Cert Lab, and it's in this list. I'll tell you where it's strong and where it isn't yet.
Every price and feature below is what each page showed when I checked it on October 11, 2026. Prices change, especially on Udemy, so check before you buy.
What a good Admin course needs in 2026
Salesforce refreshed the exam on December 15, 2025, with new weights and a new Agentforce section worth 8% (Salesforce Admins blog). So before you pay for anything, check these four things:
- Does it mention the Agentforce section? If not, it's built on the old outline.
- Are practice exams timed at 105 minutes for 60 questions? That's the real format, per the official exam guide.
- Does every answer explain why the wrong options are wrong? That's where the learning happens.
- Does it avoid "real exam questions"? Salesforce's code of conduct bans using exam content, so anything promising real questions is a risk to your certification.

A quick way to choose.
Trailhead: free, official, and what it lacks
The official Trailmix is the one resource every Admin candidate should use. It's free, it's written by Salesforce, and it groups modules by exam section with the weight shown, so you can see that Configuration and Setup is 15% while you work through it.
What it doesn't give you is a timed, exam-style mock. Module quizzes are short and you can retry them right away. That's why almost everyone pairs it with a practice-exam source.
The official exam guide also recommends two superbadges, Object Relationships and Flow Administration. They're the best free way to turn reading into skill, and they map to two of the four biggest sections. For a complete no-cost study path, see how to get Salesforce Admin certified for free.
Trailhead Academy CRT101: official, instructor-led
CRT101 is Salesforce's own one-day exam prep class. It reviews the objectives, works through practice questions and includes an exam voucher. The page says it's built for people who already have about six months of admin experience, so it's a final review, not a first course.
The price didn't show on the page when I checked, so look it up for your country. If your company has a training budget, this is the one to ask for.
K2U, the new home of Focus on Force
Focus on Force has been the go-to Admin practice exam for years, and it's now part of K2 University (K2U). The Admin Practice Exams cost $24 for 12 months and include six timed 60-question exams, 16 topic exams and a question-bank exam covering all 8 sections and 28 objectives. One small thing: the page header says 15 topic exams while the course list shows 16.
The Study Guide is another $24 with the same 12-month access, and the Exam-Ready Bundle is $249 with an official exam voucher and a month of expert support. Since the voucher alone is the $200 exam fee, the bundle makes sense only if you were going to pay full price for the exam anyway.
Honest take: for timed mock-exam volume at this price, it's hard to beat. Just note that access is 12 months, not lifetime, so start when you're ready to study.
Udemy video courses
Udemy has several big Admin courses. When I checked, the well-known ones included Mike Wheeler's Complete Salesforce Certified Platform Administrator Course (about 40 hours, 4.5 stars from over 37,000 ratings), Francis Pindar's course (22.5 hours), David Massey's (23 hours) and Deepika Khanna's (27 hours). List prices I saw ranged from about $125 to $175, and Udemy was running a site-wide sale banner at the same time. Udemy prices move constantly, so never pay list price. Check that the course mentions the Agentforce section before buying.
Best for people who learn by watching. The tradeoff is time: 20 to 40 hours of video is a lot if you have a full-time job.
